I bought these  Wahl 79524-1001 clippers with the intent purpose of, as closely as possible, a shaved haircut. The problem is, the metal guard of the clippers are simply too large for that use. I had an old pair of worn out clippers (which necessitated the buying of this particular model) and it performed admirably for many years. So I took the guard off of it and put it on the Wahl clippers and now I have a great pair of clippers that cuts at the length I want. Some people probably won’t care about this as, frankly the difference between the two guards is literally maybe an 1/8 of an inch, however it makes a difference to me. Other than this one detail, the clippers are great, much quieter than my last set, cuts hair easily, weighs a decent amount (which I don’t mind) and comes with a ton of accessories (most of which I have no use for, but appreciate nonetheless). So if you are shaving your head as I do, you might want to consider another pair of clippers (or at least considering modifying them as I did), anybody else should be good to go with Wahl Trimmer.
