Doesn’t work!,
I tried this diffuser out and I could hardly notice a difference in the pictures with or without the diffuser. I was hoping to get results similar to a bounce flash, but I think I’m better off creating a bounce card for my SB-400 using white construction paper. Don’t waste your money on this.

|Flash diffuser,
For a person who enjoys taking quality photos, this is a must-have. It really adds depth and proper lighting to your photographs. Unfortunately, it just slips over the end of the strobe and easily comes off. This may be okay for some flashes, but for the Nikon D400, it falls off unless you push it all the way on and this inhibits using the bounce flash. It’s easy to fix this issue with a large rubber band which acts as a spacer and holds the diffuser in place. The only other negative thing is the price. It’s not terribly expensive, but $10 for a small piece of molded plastic is ridiculous. They’d still be making money if they charge only a dollar. Amazon was very good at shipping this product quickly and the product does exactly what they claim it will do.
