I’m moving up to the 755320

I’ve had this heater for 2 to 4 years but have been frustrated by the on-board controls that only let you choose 70 or 75 degrees. I doubt the remote would let you choose something in between, but I never wanted to use the remote so I really don’t know. Also, at the tail end of this last winter, the on-board controls didn’t seem to work quite right anymore. However, it was quiet, heated effectively, and had a very small footprint.

So I have just bought a Lasko 755320 from Fred Meyer on sale (10/4/09) for $45 and the cashier found a coupon for me that took another $5 off. I just plugged it in and now I can choose any degree I want! Yea!! Even if I find the digital thermometer a bit inaccurate I’m confident I’ll be able to compensate. If it’s too hot, I’ll just set the temp lower until I find what feels right to me. Vice versa for being too cold. I’ve read complaints about the beeping it makes when you change settings, but I live by myself so there’s no danger of waking up a partner.

Very nice heater, period

looked around for heaters and thought this one had a nice design and it fits our family needs. We have a young toddler who wants to touch everything right now)- heater doesn’t get hot to the touch or at least the plastic around main frame doesn’t. The vent itself blows hot air so he’s not interested in getting too close to it. The remote is also fantastic- being able to control whether it oscilates or not remotely is great (in addition to the temperature of course).

Great Heater – Great Customer Service

I had to return the first one I received. When I plugged it in there was a little smoke coming out of the front vents. I thought something had fallen inside and burnt off because it stopped smoking within a minute or so. However, the heater never got hot and would cut off after a few minutes. I called customer service who told me to return it. I submitted a replacement order due to defective product and Amazon immediately shipped another one out.

The replacement unit works great. On the highest setting it heats up my small living room very quickly. The heat even drifts into my kitchen. I bought it so I don’t have to heat up the whole house when I just need warmth in the living room. I like the tall narrow shape so I can put it in a corner. I expect to get more use out of it in the Fall and Winter. Great heater!
