So, just to make this clear, I’ve owned every single model of iphone, including the iphone 4. Needless to say, I care about the quality of my gadgets.

My wife purchased the ipad2, and found herself disappointed with the limitations (ehemmm…flash!?). So when it came time for me to purchase (i.e. My b-day), I decided to do my research.

What I was looking for:

1. The most functional OS on a tablet. Meaning the OS which could bring the most from the web to me (including online accounts etc).
2. The nicest and most user friendly interface/gui, one that brought everything together right out of the box (i.e. Without having to jailbreak, which I repeatedly have to do to get the most out of my iOS products).
3. FAST FAST FAST, I’m tired of having to double press to close, double press to switch etc…..why not use gestures the right way.
4. Innovative features that no other tablet has.

So after doing some research, I found myself really liking the HP TP HP TouchPad (especially after playing with it at my local Staples).

Anyhow, the only drawback is the app selection (but that will improve, and has done so considerably in the short time I’ve owned my TP). But the more I think about it, I really only use the same 5-10 on a regular basis. So if HP could get the top 100-200 apps on the TP 95% everyone’s regular app needs would be met. The other 5% would be met by the fact the the TP has 100% Web Integration, ie. Even HULU.com works on the TP, TRY THAT ON YOUR IPAD,IPAD2 ETC ETC ETC
