I bought this Honeywell HFD-010 for my room to cut down on dust. There is a very significant difference in the amount of dust accumulating on surfaces. MUCH less. It also produces a pleasant, clean smelling odor while running but that may just be cuz it’s new and all.
It has two speeds and is not irritatingly loud. You can have a conversation next to it without having to raise your voice. The small amount of noise it produces is well worth the great reduction in dust.
