Very nice percolator

We decided to go back to a traditional stainless steel percolator due to concerns about the hot plastic present in common coffee makers. This Farberware percolator has performed well and produces very hot, excellent coffee, even more so if you purchase the proper flat filters made to cover the bottom of a unit like this. It might be nice to have a ‘ready light’, especially if you are hearing impaired, but we haven’t really missed it. You know your coffee is ready when the perking quits. The absence of a ready light is the only reason I am awarding the Farberware 4 stars instead of five. The top is a very tight fit, and from the engineering perspective, I have some concerns about how the pull handle on top will hold up over time. As I type this, I am sipping a rich, hot cup of delicious coffee made for me this morning by the Farberware, and I’m happy as a clam.

Great Little Percolator

This is the second one of these I have had. I finally burned out the other one after many years of use. One of the things I love about this is that if you like a really hot cup of coffee, this gives it to you. I actually have to put one piece of ice in my mug just to cool it down enough to drink. Also, it brews the coffee really fast. If you travel a lot and like to have fresh brewed coffee for instance in your hotel room, this pot is small enough to pack and take with you.

I definitely recommend this percolator. I wouldn’t be without it.

Faberware Percolator

I have purchase this item a few years ago from a retail store at much higher price! This is a wonderful percolator if you need only a small amount of coffee! Brews the best coffee!
