This lens is sort of the purchase for a photographer who is on the lookout for a comparatively cheap, “all purpose” lens. The canon 24-one zero five is a superb general lens. It has an inexpensive zoom and has a continuing f/four aperture. The lens can get just a little mushy within the corners on a full body camera( 5D, 1Ds) however on crop sensor bodies the lens fares much better. The lens has IS which provides me about 3-4 additional stops. The lens is weather sealed and while I’ve not taken my lens out within the rain, The sealing is understood to work well. One downside with this lens is flaring. The lens can easily flare in any respect apertures. From what I have noticed, there doesn’t seem to be a lot variation between copies on my 5D or t2i. I’ve had 2 lens from amazon and one lens from a pal and they are perform in related ways. Overall I recommend this lens to anybody searching for a lightweight L class 5X zoom lens. It goes great with a 5D

I’m not a professional photographer, but take pleasure in it significantly as a hobby. I have one other L sequence lens, which is 70-200mm F/four IS model, amongst a few others non-L lenses. I shoot with a Canon 7D, which continues to be a crop sensor camera. I bought this lens (24-105) in anticipation of a European journey last summer. And I inform you, it’s a great lens. Its focal range will not be good for a crop digicam resembling mine; 17mm would have been good at the decrease end. But still I’m very happy with its IQ and efficiency overall. I plan to buy a polarizer lens filter to enhance its efficiency even more. I believe it will likely be a worthwhile investment.

* Acceptable constant max aperture of F/four
* Great for landscaping and different outdoor photography
Cons;
* somewhat heavy, however manageable
* not optimum min focal range for a cropped sensor digital camera – but no such lens is obtainable for cropped sensors but
* not superb for indoors images, resulting from its smaller aperture
* VERY costly – THIS IS THE REASON FOR 4 STARS
But overall, I extremely recommend this lens for any DSLR, especially you probably have a full body digicam akin to 5D. It is going to greatly enhance your picture taking experience.

One very last thing, since I bought this lens, I not often swap to different lenses, besides when lighting is poor (indoors), or when I have to have a wider angle lens.

Garmin Nuvi 1450LMT GPS This is an upgraded from previous Garmin Nuvi 760 which is also a nice GPS unit but require an extra cost for maps update after the first year. On other hand, I just love the new Garmin Nuvi 1450LMT come with free Update Lifetime Maps & Traffic is a big plus and that is the only reason why I purchased the Nuvi 1450LMT. The Nuvi 1450LMT screen size is a little bit larger and has more nice preloaded features. The unit most stand out feature is a speaker volume only use 50% and is much more louder than previous Nuvi 760 where I have to crank up the volume all the way to 90%-100% in order to be heard, not to mention the combine outside traffic noises. However, I’m planning on to keep this unit with me all the time when I am traveling . I would highly recommended this unit and the seller to a friend.

Works reasonably well. I haven’t ever used a different GPS, so my review might need to be taken with a grain of salt.
I have been testing this device fairly extensively in the area around my house. For the most part, the Garmin gives me good directions. Occasionally the turning lane indicator will indicate a left turn while the map indicates a right turn. So far the map has been correct, rather than the turn indicator. The GPS occasionally also directs me on detours through housing complexes when trying to lead me from one road to another. So far these detours have been amusing.
It is annoying that I do not appear to be able to sort my saved addresses. It would be very useful to be able to sort by name or frequency of use rather than by the order in which the addresses were entered.
The touch screen is not as sensitive as I would like. I often feel that I am jabbing the screen quite hard.
The search function is also not optimal. It is very slow, and often misses things entirely that can be turned up in a less than 5 second google search. I am finding that the best way to use this GPS is to have the address of my destination in hand and have the GPS find the address.
Other than that it has been working well. I am looking forward to using it on a series of trips out of state over the next few months.

I am a former Droid 1st gen owner and have really enjoyed it for the past two years. I had naturally intended to upgrade to the Droid 3 but after reading some pretty dismal reviews about the pentile screen, low quality camera and overall heaviness, I decided to do some comparing with other Droids and ultimately settled upon the Incredible 2. I was a little hesitant to get another HTC, as a former Touch Pro owner, I had found it to be just cheap and buggy and it just didn’t last that long. HTC has stepped up it’s game with the Incredible 2. It is very light, yet it is built like a tank. It feels great in my hand and is amazingly fast. It may not have a dual core processor, but it does have a 2nd gen 1 Ghz Hummingbird processor accompanied by 768 MB of RAM. I don’t care how many cores a processor has, if you only give it 512MB of RAM it isn’t going to live up to it’s full potential. That would be like filling a Ferrari’s gas tank with 87 octane. In the Incredible’s case, the processor matched with 50% more RAM makes it fly through apps and screens with no issues. The biggest part of making the switch to the Incredible 2 was the lack of physical keyboard. I’ve always loved using a physical keyboard and thought I was going to have issues using the on screen keyboard on the Incredible 2 but it’s actually really easy to get used to and use. The 4 inch Super LCD screen makes it a breeze to type on and I really don’t miss the Droid G1 keyboard at all now. HTC’s Sense UI is really fast, easy to use and doesn’t bog down the phone like I’ve read about with the Motoblur/Ninjablur UI that is on the Droid 3. All in all, the HTC DROID INCREDIBLE 2 is thin, fast, built rock solid and has an amazing screen, an awesome camera and is more than two ounces lighter than the Droid 3. I’m really glad I decided to give HTC another try and go with the HTC DROID INCREDIBLE 2.

I agree with LA6507, my TP charges just fine with the case on. But I do agree w/ Beck that the flailing flap is a big distraction and very uselsess when it’s not in use as a stand. I tried using it with the flap folded flush to the back, but that still feels very awkward. So I find myself using it as a stand the entire time, and love that it allows the device to stand up in portrait mode (although not as sturdily as I’d like). I found the case to be a GREAT fit for the device and give it that rubberized feel that most people complain about when describing the hard plastic back of the TP. I also love that the buttons are still covered by the case and function just as precisely! I don’t think it really adds to the weight of the TP as one reviewer suggested. The TP is just a heavy device itself. Anyway, HP Touchpad Case is a great case and I think it will last a long time!
