Gorilla Automotive TW605 Torque Wrench For Sale I previously bought a Titan 3/8in. drive torque wrench from Amazon, had 0ft lb to 80ft lb torque settings, which I actually broke because I was trying to loosen a car wheel bolt, and because the max torque setting was 80ft lb on the wrench, I broke off the 3/8 attachment on it because the wheel bolts were on there really tight from the wheel shop, torque guns overtorqued the bolts. It was my mistake also, I didn’t know I’m not supposed to use a torque wrench to loosen bolts, oops.

In comparing this torque wrench to that one, the 1/2in. drive Gorilla Torque Wrench 0ft lb to 150ft lb feels alot sturdier, not only because it’s a 1/2in. drive vs. 3/8in., but also the entire wrench is one solid piece vs. the Titan had a handle grip which felt cheap. Adjustability is easy to read and set, and the great thing about this wrench is that it comes with a 3/8in. small attachment and also a longer extended 1/2in. attachment for hard to reach places. With the additional attachment you don’t have to buy all new sockets if you currently have only 1/2in. or 3/8in. sockets. The box case is black and is nicer than the Titan.

I mainly bought this to torque my wheel bolts at 65ft lb. I don’t foresee using any higher setting than that on my car repairs that I do. Highly recommend this for car guys. Also, most stores don’t even carry 3/8in. torque wrenches because they’re easier to break than 1/2in., so if you are going to get anywhere near 80ft lb, better to get a 1/2in. drive.
