Even though the house is fun to play with, my daughters were disappointed because the fire-place worked probably for the first day, the shower keeps falling off(we finally taped it), the chandelier does’nt work either. My 5 year old said that it is tooo pink and she is right too. Beware it is a one-time assembly. I would still say it is good because my daughters inspite of all these shortfalls, play with it all the time.

We bought this for our 3 and 1/2 year old because she has begged for barbie and a house for barbie. It is awesome!! I think its fairly durable for what it is, a plastic dollhouse. Although we have a fairly careful daughter who doesn’t typically break toys. I would highly recommend this for anyone with a barbie lover. The only reason I considered it for its somewhat high pricetag is because it comes with all the furniture and all the lights and sounds. They are totally worth it. All of the things work in our house and it only took me, the mom, a little over a half an hour to put together, stickers and all. This may not be educational but it is seriously fun!

Gave this to my daughter today, she’s 3 1/2 years old, and she loved it. It has a lot of really nice features: the elevator, light up fireplace and chandelier, the tv pops up with a push of a button, flushing sound from the toilet, doorbell, kitchen timer, fireplace, and shower. There are lights on the tub and inside the fridge. It also comes with barbie accessories such as food for the the fridge, dishes and silverware for the kitchen, hangers for the closet, hairbrush, toothbrush, soap, tv remote,vase with flowers, and a laptop. It is pricey but comparable to most dollhouses. It has all the furniture you need (sofa/bed/a dining table with chairs/coffie table/tub/shower) included. My daughter has only played with it for a day but it seems really sturdy. I know she will have lots of fun with it!
