160 gigs of awesomeness, perfect companion to my 32GB iPhone 3GS
Even though I have an iPhone 3GS, I wanted an iPod to carry my entire library (55 gigs) so I can have all my music on an iPod and also to serve as a backup hub for my music, since I did have a hard drive crash this year and my old 80 gig 5G ipod saved my stuff. This summer, I gave my 80GB 5G iPod away to my cousin and now I need a new one. Maybe in about two years, when iPhone are up to 128GB, i won’t need a classic around anymore…
iPod now at 160GB on one platter, I never thought this day would come. At just $255, it’s a perfect complement to my iphone. I remember a few years back, I had a 1st gen shuffle, 2nd gen mini, 1st gen nano, ipod photo, and the ipod video, and I used all 5 of them. The iPhone has allowed me to finally consolidate down to just it and the 160gig classic. I see this classic being with me for many years, serving as a nice archive.
Me, My Best Friend and Brother All think this IPod is #1
I recently got the new 160 GB IPod. at the same time My best Friend Bought One too. we also got my brother one for his 33 birthday as well. All I’ve heard from my best friend and brother is nothing but raves.. I can tell you this is miles ahead of the old 160 of which I’ve been though tree and still have a working one as well. First off it’s much smaller and compact. it is also much faster to use and seems to be faster to download too as well. there are 2 features I am not too familiar with but that seem to be good as well. First off the genius feature that is available with the new ITunes versions can be used straight from your IPod and I believe you get your TV shows in HD as well. As I only download music this feature doesn’t apply to me. All in all it’s nice to have a smaller more compact easier to use version of the IPod 160 GB classic. I only wish they would make a bigger IPod Classic as this is only a part of my music library!
