Acer Netbook I like everything about it except that it came with Windows 7 Starter edition. I thought it would enough for me since it’s mainly for traveling, but it doesn’t allow you to change some basic things like the desktop background, etc. You have to pay another $79 to upgrade to Windows 7 Premium. It is kind of a sneaky way to make the netbook cheaper, but it is a little frustrating to be unable to do things you are used to doing for free. Other than that, the netbook is great. The 10.1″ screen is so much easier to view than the 8.3″. It’s a great size to take anywhere and the battery lasts a long time. I would buy it again, but I’d be happier with the full version of Windows XP or Vista. It is just the right size. The keyboard is easy to use. Plus, it works great connected to a monitor for times that you want a larger screen. I would but it again, but I wish I would have paid attention to Windows 7 Starter.
